Center for Education Safety – Crossing Guard Training
The Missouri School Boards’ Association’s Center for Education Safety and the Missouri Department of Transportation are pleased to offer free training for adult crossing guards in Missouri.
Many Missouri crossing guards do not receive any training on crossing guard procedures, common causes of crashes, or Missouri state law that is specific to pedestrians.
This training is not intended to replace existing crossing guard training programs you may have in your district, but instead we hope that it will assist you in providing a standard minimum amount of training for adult crossing guards throughout the state.
This training is offered at no cost to any Missouri crossing guard.
